My scary story is: I went to go get some pizza and play some video games at this pizzeria. I saw this guy there that I didn't like and he didn't like me; he was 2 years older than me. He and 3 of his friends decided to meet me outside and jump me. I got into a fight with 2 people. Then another 4 people came out and I ran. But it was pretty scary because I was surrounded and along, and it doesn't get much scarier than that.

My most memorable Halloween story would be getting hit in the head with big fat Les Paul from my guitar player while on stage wearing white make-up with blood all over my head as the crowd chanted on thinking that it was part of the act. So, I had to continue on singing until the set was done and I could go to the hospital to get stitches in my head.. Remind you that this happened during the third song of the set.

Because we've never played on Halloween, I don't have a story like that but I will give you my personal Halloween stories. In Tampa, I worked at a radio station called WXTV "98 Rock" and every year, we have a big event called "Guavaween" And "Guavaween" is like Mardi Gras, but Halloween style. 100,000+ people come out they fence it all in, and there is a big parade. The radio station would be in the parade. We had an old VW bus that we built a wooden platform on the top. We would have the "Rock Girls" stand on the top and one year, I was driving. At the end, I had to take the van back to the station; I was driving down the highway and I forgot to take the platform off, and it flew off and destroyed in front of a bunch of cars in the middle of the street. And I had to tell all the bosses the next day, and well� they were pretty mad, but whatever. I also went to a Halloween wedding before. It was all Halloween style, where everyone had to dress up in costumes. I went as gangster with a pin-stripe suit with the hat and cane. I looked all "pimp-style" and all. I have a lot of other crazy stories, but that is pretty much it for that day in particular.

When I was younger, I lived in a neighboorhood where my cousins lived close by. I have a big family, I have two bothers and my cousins.

We were invited to this little Halloween Party that was happening in the building. My cousins were coming over and we were all going to this Halloween Party. We were all getting ready and making ourselves scary. I will never forget... My little cousin Ricky was dressed as Robin, He was into the whole Batman and Robbin, and he was Robbin, He had his cape on, looking all cute. We all decided that we were going to parade to the party.

And when we got to the party, we had to go up a flight of stairs. As soon as we get to the top of the stairs, we open the door and this green witch popped out. It was so unexpected and looked so real, it scared the shit out of us. I remember running down the stairs... all I remember is my little cousin Ricky literally flying down the stars like Superman!! You see the cape waiving in the air as my little cousin Ricky took a dive from the top of the stairs all the way down, from this freightening experience he got.

MPJ - How old were you guys?

LAZ - I was probably around 8 or 9 at the time. I was still really scared. I had never seen a witch before, especially like that. My little cousin Ricky was obviously more scared to take a dive like he did. My vision of that night is literally seeing my cousin fly through the air.

MPJ - How funny! He didn't get hurt, did he?

LAZ - Nah. He was a tough little kid.

My most remembered Halloween, my father used to sit on the front porch and hand out candy to kids and stuff. Eventually, you get too old to go Trick or Treating, right? So, the one year, I decided to stay home. I sat out front with my dad and my dog and we handed out candy to all the kids that night. I would have to say that is my most favorite Halloween memory, sitting on the porch with my dad.
